versatility in vipassana

One of the biggest reasons I wanted to do vipassana was because of the research I’d read.

From prison inmates to business managers to executives to drug addicts, the extensive collection of research publications I had found from the Vipassana Research Institute were undeniable proof that vipassana could be used anywhere, and it was this versatility in its application that initially intrigued me.

As the dates of the course approached, I felt a mixture of excitement and apprehension; I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I knew that the anecdotes I heard wouldn’t represent the actual experience — but I knew the course wouldn’t be ineffectual.
